PLANED is delighted to announce the addition of two new members of staff to the team this summer.
Karen Lewis joined in July and is the new Communications Coordinator responsible for delivering all elements of PR and marketing, bringing her skills and experience in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Editing and Photography into the role.
Karen has previously worked as Tourism Manager for the Port of Milford Haven and prior to that worked at the Torch Theatre for 10 years, progressing from Publicity Officer to Digital Marketing & Design Officer and Marketing Manager. She has also worked as a Freelance Marketer, Photographer and Graphic Designer for over 10 years and has recently qualified in Digital Marketing Strategy at the London College of Communication. Karen is a Special Sergeant for Dyfed-Powys Police and sits on the Board of Directors for two Welsh theatres: Theatr na nÓg in Neath and Mess up the Mess Youth Theatre in Ammanford.
Alice Coleman joined PLANED in August as LEADER Coordinator bringing with her experience as Project Officer with Lantra. The role will support the successful implementation of the Local Development Strategy for the LEADER programme in Pembrokeshire. In her role as Development Officer with Lantra, Alice supported commercial horticulture businesses to be more productive, profitable and prepared for challenges ahead.
Before joining Lantra, Alice worked with Wales Community Food Co-ops working with growers and suppliers across Wales, building capacity within local supply chains. She brings a diverse skill set with a career background in HR Business Partnering including Project and Business Development, Organisational Design, Policy, Resourcing, Talent Mapping, Employee Relations and Engagement.
