Community Well-Being & Resilience Project continues to deliver through Covid-19

PLANED’s CWBR project received additional funding to support its Covid-19 related work within communities. The team worked tirelessly during this period, adapting new resourceful ways of engaging and supporting all involved.

CWBR had offered additional support to 10 community focused organisations, this support enabled and expanded digital inclusion skills as well as awareness to address issues of isolation and support.  Some examples of the work that the CWBR project has developed was to create a community video to showcase the work of the Community Town Councils. They’ve also launched a series of Youth Representative Webinars and in additional to this have created all accompanying safeguarding policies and guidelines.

The team are currently working directly to support ‘Get the Boys a Lift’ to help them resume their counselling service digitally.

Plans are also in place to create a CWBR Cwmraeg video with lessons in workplace welsh and information on Pembrokeshire County Council’s translation duties.
