Pembrokeshire raised rugby player powered by PLANED

PLANED, the Pembrokeshire Local Action Network for Enterprise and Development is pleased to announce that it has entered into an arrangement with Scarlets Rugby, as part of a drive to increase the reach and awareness of outputs and delivery of projects.

Promoting Pembrokeshire and West Wales is a key cornerstone of PLANED, being able to sponsor the Pembrokeshire raised player Josh Macleod forms part of that promotion.

Iwan Thomas, Chief Executive for PLANED who met with Josh at Parc y Scarlets, said “By promoting skills that have been developed in Pembrokeshire with our sponsorship of Josh, we are able to engage with a far larger audience to showcase who PLANED are, and what our team delivers across a range of projects.”

“The exposure this deal gives us to a far larger audience across the wider region and beyond, will help our projects as well as the organisation in general, as we look to work increasingly across West Wales with multiple partners, whilst continuing to promote the communities and rural businesses we continue to support and engage with.”

Raised in Fishguard and a former pupil of Ysgol Bro Gwaun in Fishguard, Josh has been capped for Wales at both under 16 and under 20 level, and now plays for the Scarlets as a formidable back row forward, capable of playing anywhere across the back of the scrum.
