BRICs awareness raising event

Awareness raising event for the Pelcomb Brook Catchment area

Farmers who own or manage land in the Pelcomb Brook river catchment were invited to join the BRICs Project Team to find out more about this collaborative project. The event, which took place in September 2018 in The Rising Sun near Haverfordwest, aimed to raise awareness of the project, to explain what help and support the project is able to provide and to encourage farmers to volunteer to participate.

The Farming Connect Local Development Officer also attended to explain other sources of technical, business and funding support available to farmers.

BRICs is a research project that is taking an innovative approach to managing natural resources in the area, benefitting both communities and businesses in the locality.
