Computers, websites, mobile phones and Information Technology are a part of our daily lives and yet many of us have difficulty using them. The aim of the DATRIS project is to help people within your own community who would then be able to help others in using Information Technology.

Training and support will be given to anyone who wishes to become an IT mentor.

But that’s not all …

Would you like someone to come and speak to your community group about IT?Maybe your village hall is considering starting a website but you’re not sure how to go about it;or is there someone who would like to start a computer programming club? … then we can help.Perhaps there is a group of people in your community who would like to start a digital photography club; or learn how to use their mobile phones and tablets … we can help with that too.

Are you, or a group in your community, thinking about buying IT hardware or services?

DATRIS can offer advice and often ‘try-before-you-buy’ experience in many cases.

Whatever your needs, as far as training in Information Technology is concerned, we can either offer training to you in your community or we can put you in touch with people who would be able to provide you with more specific help.
