Community Growing Network
There is increasing interest from community groups around community growing and local food. Through the network, PLANED supports existing and emerging community allotments and other community growing projects to share good examples and increase knowledge and skills. The network has arranged site visits to see other projects, it can arrange events for people to share their experience and signpost groups to potential sources of funding and support. Publicity, open days and skills development opportunities may also be part of the network’s outreach support.
A good example of this is COCA, Caerhys Organic Community Agriculture, PLANED helped set up in the St.Davids area
